Can you read an in play market clearly and make a solid decision to execute in a safe and systematic way?

zzzzzzzz

Hunting for Profit became a year old on July the 1st and such a lot has happened in our first year. It has been an incredibly busy year working hard to help members understand and implement a safe form of trading the horses in running. Those that have bought into our systematic processes have seen what can be achieved with a solid plan after understanding how to read the market in play.

The service has evolved from providing a daily trading watch list of potential trades, adding in Skype rooms to interact with members to help educate and support. Over 150 videos of trades added including all running types, all types of races, scratch trades and taking losses plus a full days trading. Webinar’s on psychology and execution and daily debrief’s of my day’s trading. Our group has grown and we now have over 120 members. It has been a pleasure to meet some of our member’s in person, many different people from all walks of life, all around the world. Of course we are here to ultimately make money but there is a real sense of community and team spirit amongst the group which is a real  pleasure to see.

What is so satisfying is when a trader grasps the key fundamental’s of an running trade, how market’s move and they are fully in tune with how to read an in play market. We have a great group of like minded people all striving for similar goals. Trading is not easy but it is possible with a firm plan. At HFP we have a plan and educate on the shape of races but also understand when and why things might not go to plan. Understanding why a trade goes against you, why you should not enter a trade, when it is safe to do so is so important. At HFP we have a trading Watch list to work off. We don’t use historical data for trading in running, instead members are taught how to read the whole race and how to to implement a safe trade on the ladders.

The summer period has been perfect for the novice trader to chip away at and have a go at implementing our ways of thinking. Those that have stuck to their plan’s have improved, grown and are now reaping the rewards due to their patience and determination to succeed. We are about mid way through the flat season now which although most know my love of National Hunt racing the flat has been excellent so far. Royal Ascot was a particularly very good week with plenty of opportunities both pre race and In running but also many other flat meetings and summer jumps have given us some good quality opportunities.

I have encouraged more discussion on long term trades pre race and some good knowledgeable members have jumped on board with this and given their insights too. My next Webinar will be on this subject talking about race cards and as a team finding potential long term trades out side of our in play activities as an added extra to the service.

A big thank you to everyone who has supported us past and present and who knows what the future holds?  Glorious Goodwood, The Ebor , St Leger and many other quality meetings around the corner to enjoy and hopefully plenty more safe trading opportunities before the National Hunt season kicks back in.
