It has been a while since I wrote in the racing diary, we had a busy period over Christmas with some good racing, some cancelled fixtures due to the weather recently but we have been lucky to have some racing to go at most days. We had a webinar recently for the group which was well received, you gain access to these when you become a member of the group after the course, details of content in the link below

the 12:30 at Taunton today was a decent race in the end and the form might be worth following up, STELLAR MAGIC won the race with ALAPHILIPPE picking up the runner up spot, TILE TAPPER was a little disappointing considering he got weight from the other two but still ran ok.

CASA LOUPI ran well in front in the 12:40 at Ascot this race was a decent juvenile hurdle with the front runner pegged back by a 99 rated flat horse, this race is another that might be worth following up for future races.

BREWIN’UPASTORM was one highlighted on our watch list today and ran his race back over hurdles to win nicely, it will be interesting where his career goes now.

The Clarence House was an interesting race today with FIRST FLOW stepping up in grade to win, although it was not the best renewal the horse is clearly progressive and he can only beat what was against him with the main runners in the betting all disappointing in different ways but take nothing away from the winner. Hopefully this years Champion Chase renewal will now be better than last years.

Nice to see BUVEUR D’AIR make a return and even though he didn’t win after a near career ending injury and a long time off you would think he was nowhere near 100% so they would be pleased with that run.

We have two trading course options next month, two places left for the hotel course on the 15th and an online module course run over several evenings from the 22nd, these will be your last chance of attending a course before late spring/ early summer. So if you want to learn how to read the in-play market correctly in time for when the bigger summer meetings come along get in touch via email on the website.
